concordance

n. A list of terms used in a body of work, with pointers to the location of those terms. A finding aid that lists previous and current reference numbers of records that have been renumbered or relocated.

Notes

A concordance1 may be abridged to exclude common words or may be exhaustive to include every word. Concordances often contain every variation of a word, rather than combining them under a general form. - A concordance2 is also called a conversion list.
