Canadian-United States Task Force on Archival Description
n. (CUSTARD, abbr.)
A project, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Gladys Kriebel Delmas Foundation, that attempted to reconcile Archives, Personal Papers, and Manuscripts (APPM), the Canadian Rules for Archival Description (RAD), and the General International Standard Archival Description (ISAD(G)) to create a set of descriptive rules that can be used with EAD and MARC 21.
Notes
The Society of American Archivists published the United States team's implementation of the proposed rules as Describing Archives: A Content Standard in 2004.
